I don't know why, but that clip of Patti's ramp makes me want to pad up and skate Kapolei... yesss!
Youtube is so addictive. I remember watching this one when it came out and wondering how Miller and Juden made that noise when they carved the corners at Uplands - we thought it was like the echo you'd get at Aala or something - classic.

Wow! I remember back when you had to have a vert board, a street board, and a rodney mullen freestyle board because the competitions had everything going then.
Those photo's on mishen skateboards article, I remember John Adriatico "da freestyle skater" and Mark Kono. John could do some serious pressue flips. Let not forget the hair under his hat. LOL. Those were the days man. Too funny. Mark had a laid back style that I recall.
