Last year the Sunday before Labor Day the shell for our bowl was finished. So the bowl's a year old. Tuesday the coping was set. Red and the DL crew sessioned it with Steve and Alf for the first time Thursday.

So we had a little Barbeque, I did a little grilling, Jose' took the following pictures of the session that broke out, some food got eaten, beer got spilled and coping got grinded.
The Captain navigating this Indy Air.
The Bruiser had a B-Day Sept.2 and joined in on the fun with this B/S air.
Davis and Bruiser share the same B-day so it was a triple Birthday bash. Davis Grey- sliding the deep.
Alf had a few beers, smoked a few cigs then decided it was easier doing a feeble to fakie when your drunk.
It's a celebration bitches.
Kinda like a high school dance boys in one part of the bowl girl's in another.

This kind of project can happen anywhere. Find some land, get a handful of dedicated investors, and get down to it. Fond memories of playing in the mud and eating shotcrete. I would have participated in the annual festivities but my arm doesn't work too good right now. HB Bowl... |

do you know richard? i dunno if i'm letting the cat out of the bag, but he said he's got some kind of backyard bowl/pool in the works. said brian (site design guy) was going to be helping him.
i havnt talked to him in about a month so i dunno what the status report is but if you see him ask him.

ya. I know of Richard...and yup, he told me about it awhile ago, so we'll see. "what's that? the cat in the hat is building a bowl? does he have soul? must be, cuz I see in the ground there, a rather large hole"...

Thanks Steve for stepping to the plate with the facility, as well as the other keyholders for support. I can't speak for the rest of the guys but my quality of life is better because of this creation.
