In 1991 the State funded the construction of two skateparks one in Ewa Beach the other in Waianae. Using cement as the medium, both parks replicate wooden skateparks: featuring typical funbox and spine ramps.
Ewa Beach was built using the same concrete molds as the Waianae Skatepark, only the area is smaller and holds less obstacles. Bad obstacle placement makes it difficult to generate any sort of speed. Toped off with a completely wornout asphault riding surface and some sloppy Quickcrete patchwork - you'll need some serious Bullet 66s to hit this one up.
If you're heading out to the west-side pass the Ewa Beach park and go straight to The Waianae Skatepark instead.
