The fine people at Lazy Bonez skate shop decided that they were gonna throw down a $500 winner take all best trick skate contest at the smooth grounded Ewa Beach Skatepark. It was a good turn out with lots of skateboarders and cute spectators attending the contest. There were two categories, best trick and best "slam". Dyson Ramones took 3rd with a smooth kickflip bs tailslide. Nathan Nahina took 2nd with a crazy kickflip FS 5-0. And Chase York won with clean kickflip manual kickflip out. Mr. John Collins won the $100 best slam division with a nasty ankle tweaker.
After the contest, the "big dawgs" decided to through a flatbar rail on the top of the desk, standing about 5’+? Everyone did railslides and 50-50s, but standout Nathan Nahina thought to himself that he needs the chicks, so he did a very cute crooked grind on his 1st try.
