Badlands Skatepark, Florida
July 20, 1998
Upon completing a road trip, plane ride, and four hours of sleep, I found myself unloading a big coil at the Badlands Skatepark. Did I mention it was my fourth turd of the day? or the fact the dork didn't flush? (the state of Florida cut off Badland's water suply, resulting in an extremely weak well-water powered toilet). Eager to skate, I left my turd behind for the park employees.

So yes, the park is pretty cool. My bro describes it as a 'ramp jock park', featuring the likes of 2 minis (a 5' with spine and a nice wide 7' with extensions), a tight pool (with mellow tranny), 2 street courses (a rough and a smoother one), and a 12' vert ramp. Within the past few years alot of cement has been added to the park, new lumps have emerged from the smoother street course's once flat surface.
As the sun went down the bugs got up - I got my protein fix for the day,
