rolls out the latest info
If you have time on your hands this summer, check out this hot skateboard site, dedicated to skating in Hawaii.
Running under the name Fruitbat Motel, the site at http://www.50-50.com has an interactive map to find the best skateboarding sites across the state and updates on the latest competitions.
Local skateboarders ... started it three years ago to give Hawaii skateboarders information on contests, skating tips, videos, gossip and photos.
"Our audience has expanded worldwide, with most of the response from people interested in visiting Hawaii and wondering where to skate," (50-50.com) said.
"Home on the Web" is a weekly Friday feature of the Star-Bulletin.
